document scanner. 50 page ADF with duplex capability Full color single-sided at 26PPM B&W scanning at 38PPM Originals up to 11" x 17" Optical Resolution: 600DPI Color Depth: 36 bit Interface: SCSI-2/SCSI-3 Weight: 61.7lbs (oof!) A small tax/accounting office that is 99% paperless tells us that they evaluated "many" competing scanners and selected the Aficio IS330 as having the most robust handling of different sizes and weights of paper. After several years of heavy use, they remain extremely happy with their choice. |

| known issues: | When
B&W scanning is programmed, default thresholding algorithm may
be 'halftone' - if straight thresholding is desired, must be programmed
using ICAP_BITDEPTHREDUCTION capability. Automatic paper-size detection seems to only work when scanning from the ADF, not when scanning from the platen. Displays weird errors (to user!) if CAP_AUTOFEED=TRUE but CAP_FEEDERENABLED=FALSE. |
