This is a small-footprint desktop document scanner with built-in ADF. It appears to be a turbo-charged Visioneer XP-450 / AKA Documate 250 / Avision AV220. Up to 600x1200 dpi, B&W, gray and RGB up to legal size, duplex, USB 2.0, 50 page ADF. Claims 50IPM for 200 DPI B&W - one reviewer reported 68IPM! (IPM = images per minute.)
Extensive software bundle, including OmniPage OCR, Kofax VRS.

known issues: We are starting to receive some field reports on this unit. The Visioneer/Avision TWAIN drivers are generally poor quality, but if this is indeed a cousin of the Visioneer Strobe XP-450, then its virtues might actually outshine its problems.
Contact us if you have one of these and are willing to run some tests for us.

One customer reports that the scanner "hangs onto the last 1/2 inch of the page" and won't release it until the power is cycled.
